When my mom came in for treatment, it was one of the worst days possible. It was the day my dad passed away years ago, and she was feeling horrible from an infection. We normally watch movies and mourn on this day. But we had to mourn within the emergency room that entire day.

Nurse Julie made that easy. She was consistently on top of my mother’s care. I’m about to be a nurse myself, and she took my every request for my mother with the utmost respect and care. Even when I felt like I was nitpicking. A nurse like her is hard to find these days, and I hope that she knows that she made an impact on us on the gloomiest day of our year.
