When a patient began chemotherapy for breast cancer, she entered the Infusion Center overwhelmed with fear and uncertainty. Dawn immediately met her with a hug, reassurance, and genuine friendship. The patient shared that she walked in crying and left smiling because Dawn’s loving presence made her feel safe. On the day the patient lost her hair, she arrived distraught and vulnerable.
