Isabella showed true, genuine compassion for a patient during his last hours of life. She sat with the patient in his room for hours, holding his hand and comforting him overnight so he wouldn't feel alone.

She demonstrated to me true kindness and care for the well-being of the patients in her care, and that, unfortunately, it’s not all too common. If I were to be in the same situation as this patient was faced with in the hospital, or if death is imminent, and things are absolutely frightening, I would want someone like Isabella taking care of me.

She had a significant impact in reducing this man's suffering overnight by simply being caring, attentive, and kind. I’m not sure how much more extraordinary you could be as a nurse than that.
