Through her, I learned that nursing is not only a profession, it is a humanitarian message delivered from the heart.
I used to call her Hope, and her name was not just a word; it was truly who she was. She became a source of hope and beautiful optimism for both my child and me during a time filled with fear and uncertainty.

Her simple words, "Everything will pass, and your child will be in the best condition," brought comfort to my heart and strength to my soul. My child’s room was located across from the nurses’ station. Every time she passed by, she checked on me, even on days when she was not assigned to my child’s care. She would always say, "If you need anything, just call me, and I will serve you with all my heart." And she truly meant it.

Her care, her kindness, and her presence were sincere and deeply felt. Her presence in the unit felt like the sunrise of a new day. Her words were a healing balm to my heart, easing my worries and bringing reassurance when I needed it most. Through her, I learned that nursing is not only a profession, it is a humanitarian message delivered from the heart.

What impressed me even more was her gesture on the day I was discharged from the inpatient unit. Although I knew she was not scheduled to work that day, she still came forward and offered her help during my transfer, without hesitation or being asked. That simple yet powerful act reflected her true character and the depth of her compassion.

Her addition to the team was truly essential, not only for the care she provides but for the hope, comfort, and humanity she brings to every patient and family. From the bottom of my heart, thank you. This is what nursing looks like when practiced with heart before hands.
