We have been at Marin General for about a month, and we are all worn out. It's been a very hard and confusing journey.  Today, we found out that my dad might need to move to hospice, and we were very distraught, but Lisa came in and went above and beyond to explain everything to us and shared so many helpful tips.  

After a very emotional day, she went out of her way to call doctors and sort through all sorts of questions we had.  She became a central conductor who organized everything and helped us to understand what was happening next.  

On top of that, my dad ended up with an awful roommate with mental illness, and Lisa quickly went above and beyond again and arranged a new room for him without a roommate so he could get a good night's sleep.  

Just when we were feeling totally defeated, Lisa came along and was a ray of sunshine!  After being in tears most of the day we all ended that day with smiles and hope.
