Our son was involved in a serious car accident and was in the unit for two and a half weeks. We were not sure if he was going to make it and were very scared. Kimi was the nurse who was caring for our son when he was transferred from the ER to the unit.

Kimi was so attentive to our son and took excellent care of him. But she also made sure that we were comfortable, and she helped us mentally and emotionally during this very hard time in our lives. She noticed how upset our grandson and granddaughter were to see their father the way he was. She gave my grandson her number and told him to call her anytime, day or night, if they had any questions or concerns. She told my grandson to give the number to his sister and to have her call anytime with questions and concerns.

She was so compassionate and caring. She exemplifies what a nurse is. I am so grateful to her for helping my husband, and I got through this very intense and emotional time in our lives. Words can't express how thankful we are to Kimi. She was a godsend to us!
