I am a travel nurse, and Sara is one of the best charge nurses and nurses I have ever worked with. She treats her patients and coworkers like family and has made me feel so welcome as a travel nurse. In the short time that I have been here, I have seen her advocate for her patients and for her nurses.

She protects everyone on the unit and manages to put a smile on everyone's face. She is one of the only charge nurses I know who will walk around the unit just to check on everyone and make sure they are doing ok and feel safe in their assignments.  She is truly a remarkable nurse, and it is an honour to work with her. I have seen her time and time again educate patients and newer nurses in the most respectful manner.

You can truly go to her with anything, and she is always there to help with a smile on her face. She is the person you want on your team when there is an emergency and whenever you need a helping hand. She is definitely one of those people who exudes the definition of a compassionate, smart, and hard-working nurse. I am certain that if you ask any patient that Sara has taken care of, they would agree with that statement.
