My husband recently went blind. While he was hospitalized, we reached out to Breana to learn how we could get services after discharge and medications. She was very kind and caring as we were going through this scary and stressful time.

I think I talked to her every day that he was hospitalized. Every time she reassured me, I was not bothering her. Now that we are home she continues to be amazing and has been checking into other things, for example, today she reached out to the blind rehab center in Chicago because we hadn't heard back from them and the OT was out on leave.

Even though this wasn't her job and an area she was unfamiliar with, she still figured it out. She made us both feel so supported. We are so thankful for the VA healthcare system.
