My son absolutely loved her; she took the time to get to know him, and she showed him how important he was. She was the best nurse we have ever had.
From the moment Remi walked into my son's room, his whole attitude changed. She gave him 100% attention; she talked to him like a person, not a child; she made him feel important, and what he said or wanted mattered. She went above and beyond to make sure he was doing well.
My child had AFib we were told was from his PICC line. It happened when a nurse was taking labs. He kept telling the nurse it hurt and to stop, but the nurse wouldn't, and within seconds, he had the AFib. From that moment on, he no longer trusted the nurses and would not let anyone touch him or take his blood or touch the PICC line. He was 13 years old and terrified of nurses.
Then the wonderful, amazing Remi became his nurse, and within two hours, she gained his trust, and he had no problem with her taking his labs or touching the PICC line. She even came to see him when she was moved to a different section after she had a day off. She would walk into the room, and instantly, he would have a smile, and honestly, he wasn't smiling at all.

My sweet baby boy passed away. Remi even reached out to us to give her love and sympathy. There is no other nurse who deserves the DAISY Award more than Remi does.

Remi was very attentive to my daughter during her stay. Remi's professionalism and her ability to be compassionate make her a great nurse. Her suggestions definitely made our stay stress-free and more comfortable. I'm blessed that the universe sent her to help my baby back to health. I'm forever grateful for her. I hope this hospital never takes her for granted because it's rare to find a nurse like her.

Remi is a wonderful person. Her love and outstanding care put a smile on our son’s face. Both my husband and I are grateful for her selfless service during this difficult time. I'll always remember her devotion and how well she cared for our family. Her positive attitude made a difference for our son.

She goes the extra mile to help my daughter and us during our stay. She helped us clean, brought toys, etc.
