Audrey was nominated by a local College Nursing Facilitator. Audrey is the kindest and most welcoming nurse. She doubts her ability to teach, but every clinical day, I’ve assigned student nurses to her, and they come and tell me what a stellar job she has done, including daily workflows.

She smiles and teaches everyone she encounters. She takes a moment to chat and does her duties with effortless speed. As “guests” in each unit, the student nurses often struggle to fit in or feel like they belong. Audrey has made every student nurse working with her feel like they belong and that they are a valued member of the treatment team.
