Her personal care, love, and support that she exhibited for our mother will never ever be forgotten.
We would like to take this time to recognize this extraordinary nurse for going above and beyond in anything I have ever experienced in caring for our mother in her final days with us.
My sister and I are RN’s as well, and being on the other side of things was by far one of the hardest things we will both have ever experienced in our lives. We were blessed with having Jordyn be our mother’s nurse during her final days with us.
Her personal care, love, and support that she exhibited for our mother will never ever be forgotten. My sister and I will remember her forever, and we often reflect on her.
During her twelve-hour shifts, it is fair to say that the majority of her time was spent in our mother’s room caring for her, repositioning her, lotioning her, combing her hair, and exhibiting so much TLC.
On our last night with our mother, the hardest thing we have ever gone through in our lives, she gave us so much comfort and support that we will forever be grateful for. I will forever strive to be the nurse to others as she exhibited to us during the most difficult time of our lives.
During the final hours, she was present, supportive, kind, and caring. In our exhaustion, we both were actually able to close our eyes for a bit, knowing we would not miss her last breath because she was our mother’s nurse.
Jordyn, I know I told you this in person, but being a nurse is truly your calling. You exceeded anything we could have ever hoped for. You went above and beyond to listen, care, and support us during the most difficult time.
You will forever be remembered by our family, and you truly touched us by making this horrendous experience as best as it could be under the circumstances we were in.
Again, our deepest and most sincere thank yous.
Jordyn is definitely an asset and exemplifies all qualities of physical, spiritual, and emotional needs – not only for her patients, but also for family members.
