While sharing my child’s health history with the nurse, the stress of the situation took over me. In your emergency department, I had a mental breakdown, which in turn caused me to cry uncontrollably. I was terrified, and I could not control my emotions. Nurse Leanne Wilson stayed with me, not only comforting me but also hugging me until I stopped crying. At that moment, I was completely at peace and found safety in her presence.
