Today, my five-year-old son had his first ER visit ever. He cut his head open, and I thought it would only need a single stitch, but it turned out to need three staples. Randy Clark was immediately so kind and gentle with my son. He made the visit fun and not scary for both my kids, as my daughter was with me. He brought both kids croc charms when he saw they had crocs on! They were ecstatic! They kept talking about how they were going to show their dad when we got home, and wanted everyone to see their new charms! He kept them entertained and happy during our very quick trip. I was so pleased with how fast he cared for us and got us out, which is a huge blessing with little kids! Randy truly went above and beyond today, and I am so thankful he was our nurse!

Today, I observed nurse Randy take hold of a patient's hand and listen to why she was crying. He listened to her concerns and fears. The world seemed to stop for a moment as he showed himself to be a very kind and compassionate nurse. Her visitor told me Randy was her nurse when she had a heart attack. They said, “He saved my life.”

Randy took his time to listen to me. He made sure I could reach my call light at all times and randomly checked on me. He took his time providing my care, and I did not feel rushed or overlooked. He made sure I was safe and could ask for help. He took great care of me.
