My daughter was admitted on Thursday night. Friday, Saturday, and Sunday, Makayla was her nurse. We kept watching A decline, and that was hard, and it was obvious that Makayla was as concerned as we were. She bent over backwards to help us get a correct diagnosis. A was admitted for an Adrenal Crisis, but it was soon evident that that wasn't what was going on. After going through 4 doctors, Makayla found us a doctor who was able to pinpoint what was really going on with A, and within the first 24 hours of dosing her, she was sitting up and able to eat. Makayla went above and beyond for A and us! She made sure that everyone who came into A's room knew exactly what was going on, and A was comfortable. She made our stay there awesome, and she fought to get us the best care and answers that we needed. Thank you, Makayla!
