My daughter was placed into the care of a different doctor and Nurse Jose due to her HCP not being available at the last minute. My daughter expressed her discontent with having a male nurse and anxiety over it. Jose immediately homed in on this and began to gain her trust by showing concern, patience, understanding, and compassion. All of which put her mind at ease.

All too often, the nurses come off as short and to the point as they are pressed for time, but not this day! Jose was exceptional with the calm care that he provided to my daughter. He restored our image of patience within the health care field, along with compassion, in ensuring it’s maintained in the face of time constraints and pressure to care for a multitude of patients throughout the day.

As a dependent and health care worker at MEDDAC myself, I wanted to make sure everyone knows, if they don’t already, how wonderful this nurse is as an exceptional worker. Often, they fall by the wayside, and this should never be undervalued. Thank you for all that you do, Jose, and for caring enough to always make a difference!
