The Twin Cities Chapter has exemplified the very essence of nursing through their dedication to community care, compassion, and education. Their work has demonstrated selflessness and bravery, particularly during the onset of the COVID-19 pandemic, when uncertainty was high and resources were limited.

We salute this chapter and thank them for their unwavering commitment to the mission of Black Nurses Rock. In response to the urgent needs of an already underserved community—further strained by the social determinants of health and limited access to COVID-19 testing—this phenomenal chapter has made a profound impact.

Inaugurated in January 2020, just before the global shutdowns, the Chapter quickly mobilized under the leadership of its President, developing strategic COVID-19 testing initiatives in partnership with state leaders. Through innovative approaches to awareness, testing, and education, the Twin Cities Chapter has created a coordinated plan to support and sustain community health.

Their efforts not only addressed immediate needs but also established a foundation for long-term health equity, reflecting the dedication and vision central to Black Nurses Rock Foundation.
