Carolyn was extremely attentive to me throughout labor. She had excellent anticipation of when the delivery would happen. She saved my son‘s life as soon as he was born. At 40 minutes of life, my son was doing skin to skin with his dad when Carolyn came to do an assessment and noticed that his heart rate had dropped and he was suddenly turning gray.

She immediately started compressions and called a code. It was a very devastating thing to watch, but had she not caught it when she did, our son wouldn’t be here. We are so grateful for her doing her assessments and acting so quickly that our son had a normal lab workup, and everything was normal based on her assessment. We are so grateful to her for saving our son and for being so quick with everything.

She also checked in on me for the next couple of days while I was in recovery and even brought me the shoes that I had forgotten in my room. She’s absolutely amazing.
