It was my first time undergoing surgery, and I was extremely scared—especially of needles and the entire process. I felt anxious and very nervous because I did not know what to expect. Then I met a nurse who was full of positive energy. Johanna was cheerful and always greeted me with the sweetest smile. I can truly describe her as an “angel in a blue uniform,” as she reassured me that everything was going to be alright.

She was smart, knowledgeable, and able to explain every detail of my surgery clearly and simply, which helped calm my fears. She promised me that she would be my nurse when I woke up after the surgery—and she kept that promise. Her gentle care, compassion, and sympathy helped me recover quickly. Two weeks later, I did not expect to see her again during my follow-up appointment, where she was assisting the doctor who performed my surgery.

As always, she patiently explained helpful information for a faster recovery, especially the dos and don’ts. She truly deserves to be applauded for her excellent work and her caring heart toward her patients. May Allah bless your kind heart, and thank you for taking such wonderful care of me.
