Kayla went above and beyond to show my mother compassion, that she mattered, took time to listen, and slowed down to make sure my mother knew she was there for her. Kayla has been the best nurse during all of my mom’s care in and out of the hospital over the years while dealing with liver failure and all of her other issues.

Kayla listened to us, the family members, took time to find the best ways to make my mom comfortable, paid attention to my mom's situation, and even noticed when she was slipping into another confused state before I even said anything. I knew I could trust my mom to the care of this amazing nurse.

I am grateful that during the critical time we just went through, she had such a strong, compassionate, caring nurse. Definitely one I am grateful to have chosen the path of being a nurse, for all the right reasons.
