In deep appreciation for all you do, in consistently providing exemplary, skillful, and exceptional levels of compassionate care to the patients of the Summit ICU Department. Emily deBoisblanc noticed that her patient, who had been fearful for over two weeks, was crying when his wife would "FaceTime" him with his dogs.

In an effort to provide comfort, reduce stress, and improve the emotional wellness of the patient, Emily took the time to arrange to have the hospital therapy dog come to visit. When the therapy dog arrived, the patient's face lit up, and he had a huge smile on his face. His wife was so very appreciative that now she "didn't have to sneak her dog in".
