Throughout the year, this unit received a collection of patient comments and thank-you notes that shared the compassionate medical care your team provided. We had several great nominations, but one stood out, which we would like to share with you.

My mom has been a chemo patient for four years, and it has been difficult for her to keep her spirits up. The Cancer Center is very deserving of the DAISY Team Award. The center does a great job. Everyone in the department has cared for my mother during her cancer journey. The staff is proactive and is always prepared for her appointment.
They know my mom likes blankets, so they always have one ready for her.

This team is always kind and patient with my mom. The staff knows that she gets lonely, so they get her snacks and stop by to visit and tell stories. They always make her feel like a priority. My mom is my priority, and they work with me to keep her therapies consistent. This allows me to work and keep the family moving.
