When concerns arise, everyone knows they can go to Nikki.
Nikki truly embodies what it means to be a leader in clinical excellence. Always striving to stay up to date on the latest evidence and research, she brings that knowledge back to the team in a way that is practical, safe, and focused on delivering the best quality care. As a true partner in health, she collaborates not only with providers and staff but also empowers nurses by making sure they feel confident and informed in their practice. She has put in place processes for our nurses and doctors to address the needs of high-risk patients, always making sure they receive the best care. What makes her stand out is the way she does the right thing with purpose and kindness. No question is too small, and she answers quickly, thoughtfully, and without judgment. If she doesn’t know the answer, she finds it—and delivers it in a way that builds trust and confidence. Her leadership is not just about knowledge, but about creating a safe space where learning and growth are always encouraged.

Nikki has been such an incredible influence on my journey as both a nurse and a leader. She has always taken the time to invest in my growth, not because there was anything in it for her, but because she genuinely values the work and development of others. Through her guidance, I’ve been inspired not only to become the best nurse I can be, but also to push myself in my career in ways I never thought I was capable of. She is truly the heart of our unit. When concerns arise, everyone knows they can go to Nikki. She listens, validates, and helps us feel seen, while also guiding us to problem-solve and find real solutions. Her knowledge runs deep, and she is quick to identify the right resources or create processes that make care smoother and safer for everyone. What stands out most about Nikki is her integrity and compassion. She cares deeply for her patients, for her coworkers, and for the unit as a whole. You can always count on her to do the right thing. Our unit simply wouldn’t be what it is without her leadership, support, and heart.
