Her compassion went beyond what is expected from a nurse. We will forever be grateful for Christine’s presence and the extraordinary care she provided during this difficult time.
She's a warm, caring, empathetic, perfect teacher who will look for answers and solutions.

We only had two nurses in the ED this morning. Christine came over from the ICU with a student and got us caught up. She showed us that ED and ICU are a team and should work together. Thank you, Christine!

On behalf of a patient's family, I am privileged to recognize Christine for the extraordinary care and compassion she provided to his family leading up to the final moments of his life. Christine demonstrated an unmatched level of empathy, professionalism, and grace that not only alleviated their fears but also allowed them to honor his passing in a peaceful and dignified way.
When the patient entered the ICU, everyone was understandably overwhelmed with emotion and uncertainty. Christine took the time to listen to the family’s concerns, explain the process, and answer their many questions with patience and clarity. Her calm and reassuring presence helped them understand what to expect, and they felt genuinely supported.
I am a nurse myself, and I’ve never heard comfort care explained so beautifully. Her raw emotion as she spoke to the family truly moved me. She not only provided expert care for but also ensured that the family was as at ease as possible. She helped the family prepare for every step. This simple act made all the difference, allowing us to feel connected during such a difficult time.
Her compassion went beyond what is expected from a nurse. We will forever be grateful for Christine’s presence and the extraordinary care she provided during this difficult time. She exemplifies the values of this award—compassion, excellence, and a deep commitment to the emotional and physical well-being of her patients and families. Her selflessness and expertise in caring for our loved ones in their final moments are something we will always remember.
