I called Dr. Smith's office as I believed I was having after effects from nuclear medicine the week before, pain in the abdomen. She didn't think it should still be affecting me and sent me to the ER.

ER doc ordered a CAT scan, and they found a bladder tumor. The tumor was not the cause of the pain, a pulled muscle was, but her call to send me to the ER found a cancer that could have remained hidden for years and grown and spread. She saved me lots of pain and possibly worse. I am ever in her debt.
