I would like to nominate Denise from the ICU/CCU units at Honor Health Osborn. Denise showed my father and our entire family an extraordinary level of compassion, professionalism, and care during one of the most difficult times in our lives. From the very first moment she began caring for my dad, Denise treated him as if he were one of her own family members. Her attentiveness, empathy, and commitment to his well-being have been nothing short of inspiring.

Every detail of his care was handled with the utmost precision and compassion, from monitoring his condition closely to ensuring he was as comfortable and calm as possible. What has stood out most is how communicative and transparent she was with our family. She consistently took the time to explain what was happening, what to expect, and how my father was progressing. Her patience and kindness helped ease our fears and gave us confidence that my dad was in the best possible hands. She represents everything nursing should be: skilled, compassionate, and deeply human. Her dedication to her patients is truly the embodiment of what the DAISY Award stands for.
