This nurse was an excellent nurse for my Dad's bedside after his VAT procedure. She was an advocate for him and was incredibly helpful, kind, and swift to jump in when my Mom had a seizure or stroke episode in the room at my Dad's bedside. She was amazing at staying calm in a serious situation and trying not to alarm my Dad, Mom, or sister and me, but also seeing that my Mom got the care she needed. Mom was admitted to the ER and then to neurology, and Rachel was so helpful to my family as we had to go from each floor to care for both my parents at the same time. Knowing she was there at his bedside, she even helped facilitate a visit between my Mom and Dad while they were on different floors. She is a true asset to the hospital who leads with her heart and deserves all the praise!
