Her way of accompanying us has been deeply human: efficient, empathetic, and committed.
My husband suffered a serious commuting accident. As he was leaving work, his car broke down, and when he got out to check it, he was hit by a driver who was speeding. He became trapped between both vehicles and was hospitalized for five months at the Hospital del Trabajador, fighting for his life. Today, with 85% disability, he has regained some mobility from the torso up and can form short phrases—some clearer than others. It has been a slow, difficult, and very challenging process, but thanks to Achs’s support, we have been able to move forward, little by little.

As his wife—and also as a nursing technician—I have lived this process through love, uncertainty, and hope. That is why we want to recognize Francisca Núñez. Her way of accompanying us has been deeply human: efficient, empathetic, and committed. Every promise she makes, she keeps. Every task she takes on, she carries out with a true vocation for service.

Francisca has been a key part of making this very difficult stage a little more bearable. Her unconditional support has left a profound mark on us as a family.

Thank you, Francisca, for so powerfully representing what it means to care with compassion and dignity. Never change.
