I am writing to wholeheartedly nominate Arianna, my labor and delivery nurse, in recognition of the incredible care she provided during one of the most important and vulnerable moments of my life. To give some context: I originally had no intention of delivering at Adventist Health and Rideout. However, my baby had other plans. Labor came on fast and strong, and I ended up delivering at Adventist Health & Rideout.

That morning, during the early shift change, Arianna came into my room and introduced herself. From the very first moment, her presence was calming, warm, and reassuring. I was scared, overwhelmed, and unsure of what to expect, but Arianna changed everything. She treated me with the utmost kindness, dignity, and compassion. She answered every question thoughtfully, never making me feel rushed or like a burden. She spoke to me with empathy and understanding.

When it came time to push, she was my coach and my cheerleader. She encouraged me through every contraction and supported me in a way that made me feel both safe and strong. Her care didn't feel clinical; it felt deeply human. She went beyond the call of duty, and even though it may have been just another day at work for her, it was a life-changing day for my family and me.

Because of her, I now look back at my labor with gratitude instead of anxiety. Arianna is the true embodiment of what a nurse should be. She is not only skilled and knowledgeable, but she also brings heart, patience, and grace to her work. I will never forget the way she made me feel in those critical hours, and I know I'm not the only one who's been impacted by her presence. Please consider this my highest recommendation for Arianna to be recognized for her outstanding dedication and compassionate care. She deserves to know the profound difference she made.
