I came to give birth at MCR, my first birth, and I wanted to do everything naturally, but unfortunately, life took a turn of events on me. Long story short, I had a very traumatic birth experience. I won't get into it a lot, but Alyssa, I will remember you for the rest of my life - I mean it. You met me at a moment when my heart was very heavy, broken, and I felt completely lost. But every time you'd walk in my room, I felt heard, understood, and cared about. You didn't judge me or make me feel bad about all the crying I did. You didn't push me to do things I couldn't do; you were patient with me. You understood me without ever going through what I went through. You’re an amazing nurse. An amazing person, and I know, you told me one day you want a baby of your own, you're going to be an amazing mother! I hope you carry these words with you forever, and just know I mean it when I say the person you are is one in a million, never change who you are. You really touched my heart. Thank you for taking care of me when I couldn't take care of myself.
