When I came into the hospital and got admitted, I was so scared. They said I was going to the ICU due to my health issues. Never in my life had I had to go to the ICU, but once I got to the floor, Brooke was my nurse. She made me feel so hopeful and safe!

I was in so much pain, and she was making me comfortable; she communicated excellently regarding my pain meds, heard me out, and reassured me that everything‘s gonna be okay. That night, I thought I was dying, and it was so scary for them to say I had to go to the ICU, but she was a great nurse. She was there for me, making sure that I was safe. She knew I felt lonely because I told her, and she told me, "Don’t feel like that." She’ll watch over me, and she did a great job.

I can’t let her work go unnoticed without telling someone how she was just there for me with the communication. She explained my medication. She explained everything she was doing to me. I was having a diabetic attack, and she was just so sweet, making sure I was comfortable. I didn’t know what was going on that night, but this nurse was there making sure that my care was met explained thigns to me. She advocated very well for me when it came down to pain meds, and when it came down to communicating with the doctors, she did a great job, phenomenal job!
