Jamie's passion for the profession to pick up a different scheduled shift when her unit needs it is just one reason she is a DAISY Nurse. She listens to the family members and looks out for resources and multidisciplinary professionals to achieve her patients plan of care.

Her unconditional empathy towards patient’s care when they are confined, cuffed in bed, and the guard does not want to remove it to clean the patient is another example. They had a mepilex on their cuffed wrist and were hurting. Jamie found a way to help to clean the patient without hurting their extremities with a chain cuffed to the bed. She is reliable and trusting when you need to delegate medication administration and getting help from the case management and social worker for the family member. 

She has many attributes within the core of nursing values: integrity, advocacy, veracity, excellent teamwork, empathy, compassion, respectful, she makes sure her patients have dignity, kindness, commitment, diligent, creativity and innovation in the plan of care.

She shows her love for her patients and her profession by giving unconditional and holistic care on their behalf.

She shows selflessness by offering and helping to clean other patients, when these patients are not assigned under her care and the primary nurse is busy at the time.
