My father was admitted into MSICU for four days, and the care he received while he was there was so tremendous, he did not want to leave. All of the nurses and doctors treated him with respect and dignity. Despite being separated from my father and only able to visit him during visitors' hours, the nurses caring for him would go out of their way to allow us to speak with him virtually and via speaker phone.

This put our minds at ease, and it helped him to know that we are connected to him and thinking and praying over him. The Head nurses and their team came daily with the doctor to check on him, and they were always giving him hope. I believe that because the MSICU team cared for him so tenderly, it sped up his recovery and allowed him to be transferred out of their area. He did not want to leave them; he told us the nurses all treated him as if he were their father, and despite his health, he felt energized by their attention and care towards him.
