Not only did she take care of this critical event, but no issue was too small for her.
Amanda was our nurse after my wife's shoulder replacement surgery. The procedure went well, but the decision was made before surgery to keep her overnight due to a prior blood clot incident two years ago.

It was a couple of hours after surgery when the excitement started. My wife had to go to the bathroom, and Amanda walked her through sitting up, then standing up, and then walking to the bathroom. Within a couple of minutes, Debbie felt lightheaded, and she fainted. Amanda and I kept her from falling into the wall or sink, but with no option of holding her, we just operated on the right side; we could not keep her up.

The only option was the bathroom floor. We called for help, and Amanda cradled her head and tried to revive her. Her blood pressure had dropped very low, and she was out for over a minute. With the help of several others, my wife was able to be placed back in bed. Her blood pressure began to improve, and things started to get back to "normal."

This event is where Amanda shone. She is a caring, compassionate, and genuinely nice person. But she is so much more. Not only did she take care of this critical event, but no issue was too small for her. Amanda answered all our questions. She tracked down whoever she needed to get us the answers. She was always "on" and supportive.

Amanda is humble and exceptionally thoughtful. She treated my wife with care and consistent attention. She is simply a delightful person who met a significant challenge head-on with courage and compassion.

We will always remember her.
