Sydney came onto her shift at the end of my delivery. However, the end of delivery was when I had the complication of uterine rupture. She jumped right in with assuming care and helped me to feel calm and safe while we were waiting to go to the OR for surgery. Sydney stayed with me until a plan was made and listened to all my concerns and fears of what was to come next. She assured me that if I needed her at any point in surgery, she would be right there for me. She had known me for only minutes, and walked into a hectic start of her workday, but I felt safe and genuinely cared for while she was my nurse. Thank you!
