She made me feel like we had been best friends for years while she took care of my son and me.
I came here in July of 2025 to get seen for back pain, but it turned into something way more than just a bad UTI. At 29 weeks pregnant, I had severe back pain, and it turned out not to be a UTI but back contractions. So, I came into the ER, and they checked my baby’s heartbeat and noticed she wasn’t doing so well. So, the OB on shift highly recommended a C-section, and after they had done it, I was brought to the postpartum part of the hospital.

Well, while staying here, as a first-time mom, I noticed Donna-Sue was always willing to help me when I needed it. But what really stood out was when she was just doing her rounds and came into my room when I was coming out of the bathroom in tears and holding my stomach, where I was operated on. She asked me what was wrong and if she could help. I told her that I’ve been trying to walk around, but it hurt,s and now my pain is worse.

I told her it’s been on and off all day, and I told the morning shift, but no one came in to help. So, as the day progressed, my pain got really bad, and she didn’t hesitate. She tried and helped me relieve the pain that I had all day. What really stood out was how caring and ready to help someone even when she was busy, but took the time to do it. She stood out because she took time to help me when she could’ve said “No," or "Give me a minute,” but she didn’t. She stopped everything to help me.

She was attentive, responsive, well-trained, and so sweet. She made me feel like we had been best friends for years while she took care of my son and me.
