Regina Hansen, RN, exhibits the highest degree of professionalism and excellence in providing the best quality of patient care. I recently began to experience a very painful condition, and scheduled an appointment with my primary care provider, who is very fortunate to have Regina as his medical assistant.

Upon checking in, she listened intently to my issue and immediately recognized the amount of discomfort I was experiencing, then fully documented all the pertinent information in preparation for my exam. Additionally, the courteous and compassionate manner in which she conducted herself was far beyond the call of duty, and directly contributed to easing my anxiety and making me feel in good hands.

At the exam, my provider scheduled some tests, including blood work, CT scan, and a MRI…he then went on a scheduled weeks’ vacation. During the following week, Regina picked up the ball and guided me through the tests, maintaining constant contact with me. I sent her several messages over this time period to which she immediately responded. She also made sure my case was being reviewed by the on-call doctor, and at my request she sent a referral for an appointment at the hospital’s pain clinic. She assimilated all the information about my case and assured me she would fully brief my provider immediately upon his return from vacation.

Her love of the nursing profession and utmost desire to provide the best patient care is obvious and commendable. I am extremely impressed by her level of medical knowledge, teamwork and ability to navigate and coordinate treatment among the hospital’s various services. Cass Health should be extremely proud of the trust they’ve placed in Regina to act in such a competent and reliable manner in place of an out-of-office provider.
