I am pleased to recommend Jenayiah Williams at the LIJ for special recognition in acknowledgment of her outstanding service, dedication, and compassion. My daughter, from California, came to visit her grandmother and relatives in New York. Unexpectedly, she was admitted to LIJ only two days after her arrival due to an acute medical condition. She was frightened, disoriented, and struggling to communicate.

Jenayiah was compassionate, comforting, and she spoke to her gently to share her pain. Over the next few days, not only did my daughter get treated medically, but emotionally supported as well. On days that my daughter was not their patient, these nurses came by to say hello and to check on her wellness. My daughter was so thankful and appreciative of her caring and kindness. She tearfully thanked the nurses for taking care of her as part of her family.

Jenayiah illustrated heart, skill, and commitment in her role every day. She carries the highest standards of patient care, delivering medical excellence with humanity and grace. Her work truly represents the very best of what healthcare should be.
