Jessica's calm, reassuring tone and attentive nature brought us both peace during a difficult time.

On July 31, my mother was placed in a rehab at a nursing home. Just a few days later, she was rushed to the hospital via ambulance due to a possible stroke. After several stressful hours in emergency department, she was admitted to the hospital- confused, scared, and deeply distraught about what was happening to her.

It was almost the second day of our hospital day that we have the pleasure of meeting Jessica. I walked into to visit my mom and found this nurse gently assisting her with breakfast, encouraging her to eat and drink as part of the healing process. Jessica introduced herself to me warmly and we instantly connected. Jessica's words, tone and actions all conveyed deep sense of compassion, commitment. Jessica cared for my mom over the next few days and I cannot overstate the impact she had.

Despite the discomfort and stress my mom was experiencing, she felt truly safe and comforted in Jessica's care. Throughout my mom's stay, she underwent multiple tests and received information from various departments and physicians. Jessica consistently took the initiative to contact me after each update making sure I understood the reports and answering any questions we had with patience and clarity. When my mother was in pain, Jessica made sure she received her medication and did everything they could to comfort my mom. Jessica's calm, reassuring tone and attentive nature brought us both peace during a difficult time. In every way, she exemplifies what it means to be a dedicated, passionate nurse. Jessica's presence made a world difference to my mother and me.
