When I came in, I was a wreck, and Nurse Betsy (Elizabeth Gomes) calmed me down. She then noticed a tattoo I had of a semicolon and shared with me that she had someone close to her who had committed suicide, and that I was worth it and needed and deserved to live.

That was four years ago, and maybe I haven't done all the right things, but because of her, I always remember what she said and never want to make my family feel like that.
