Abby, in the ICU, has been my mom's nurse during the night hours for many nights now. She has cared for her as if caring for her own relative, which is such a blessing in my eyes. I know with my mom's dementia, it has not been easy, as she just wanted to see her husband in a different room in your hospital. They both came in together at Graham Hospital, but he left us unexpectedly, and now I am burdened with telling her. So thankful that Abby cared for my mom, and she is whom I nominate for the DAISY Award.
