As a mother going through the struggle of having a baby facing open heart surgery, I was left with a lot of mental uncertainty and just downright sadness. Abi has gone above and beyond for not only my child but me as a parent. She helped me laugh and see the lighter side of things.

She is extremely knowledgeable and answers every question. She advocates for my child when I don’t know how. She has made this hospital stay much more tolerable. She is nothing short of amazing. She has been a huge help mentally for me. But also, for my child. She soothed my 3-week-old when other nurses may have used medication. She helped me feed her for the first time and helped me hold her. She has truly been a saint. She helped me feel overwhelmed and helped me understand our next steps in recovery as we tackled them.

Abi has been a huge part of our recovery here in the CVICU. She helped my daughter grow stronger and helped me become stronger as a mother as well. I cannot say enough about her!
