I am taking the time to nominate this extraordinary nurse because she has gone above and beyond for a patient who has been in the hospital for over 100 days. Danielle and I have been following one another while taking care of this patient, and she has gone out of her way every shift to do at least one thing to make their stay better. Danielle bought the patient flowers and a card from the gift shop to show them some love. She also took the time to paint the patient's nails. I believe Danielle is deserving of this award, and I strive to be a better nurse because of her.
