1st Nomination
As a leukemia patient, I spend a lot of time in many different hospitals as an inpatient. It can sometimes feel disjointed as if I’m “starting from scratch” each time. This is never the case when I see Jer-Sadia’s beautiful smile walk through my door at Flower Hospital. She not only brings skill, confidence, and knowledge with her, but also an amazing memory, allowing us to pick up right where we left off. Her empathetic ear is like having a sister with me, and her never-failing humor is like a light in the dark.

2nd Nomination
It was a comfort to know that Mom was in great hands with Jer-Sadia. She is so pleasant and upbeat, calling mom " honey," and when she says she'd be back to check on her, she was! Very concerned about patient comfort & willing to explain in our terms what to expect.

Jer-Sadia was always very nice and professional. She was always eager to show her new skills to herself and my classmates. I witnessed this nurse be very patient and compassionate to her patients, answering their questions to the best of her ability and offering comfort when needed. She was very welcoming to my classmates and me! She is the reason I look forward to attending clinicals weekly.
