From my first meeting with Connie, I felt her confidence and positivity.
I had a massive heart attack. I was sent to DCH for Cardiac rehab. I didn't have any idea what to expect. I had a lot of questions and apprehension going forward with my healing.
From my first meeting with Connie, I felt her confidence and positivity. During my months of rehab, she was always positive and caring. With a room full of patients, she gives each one the attention to help them. We all have had questions, concerns and needed help with our equipment. If you had a special concern, like BP, blood sugar, or any other concern, she always addressed it, and you knew that she cared about your well-being.
She answered all of my questions, and I had a lot of them. She calmed me when I was worried about some of my tests, my O2 level, or my blood pressure. She has a wealth of knowledge, and I felt she truly cared. She took the time to get to know each of her patients.
Even though I may never see her again in that setting (I hope), she made a positive impact on me and my health. Connie is an encourager. She is always looking for ways to help others with getting and maintaining a healthy lifestyle. I will be forever grateful for her care when I needed it the most. Therefore, I feel she deserves the recognition of receiving the Daisy Award.
