I came in with bad chest pain and was brought back within a few minutes. Shawn was in the room very quickly and immediately got my IV in. He did a great, quick, and painless poke, which was much appreciated due to the amount of pain I was already in. The ED was also very busy, two to a room and patients in the hallway, but my Shawn was very quick to come whenever I put on my call light and was so very helpful.

He listened to all my concerns and immediately went to the doctor if needed, such as requesting and administering more pain meds when I was still in a lot of pain. Not only is Shawn good at what he does, but he also has a very friendly and calming bedside manner that helped me mentally and emotionally, and to be more at ease in a scary situation. He checked on me often, even when they were still busy, and was great at updating me with any test results and patient with my questions. I’m very grateful that he was my nurse. Thanks.
