Shelly cared for my dad when he had his shoulder surgery. She went above and beyond by ensuring he was as comfortable as possible before and after his surgery. She worked as a team with the nursing assistant, A, to get him prepped and ready. Shelly offered my father a blanket warmer in the pre-op setting, which made him comfortable. Also, she provided a detailed explanation of the plan for the day in an easy-to-understand way. Any concerns my parents had in the post-op phase, she was an active listener and answered the questions they had with a smile on her face. She made us feel very welcome. She included us (the family) right away in his care, so we could be there when the doctor stopped in prior to surgery. She was efficient with pre-op and discharged us home in a safe and timely fashion.
