My mom had a stroke after her knee replacement surgery and was transferred to Memorial Hermann Southwest Hospital for further surgery and rehabilitation. Justin was one of the first nurses to care for her, and he truly went above and beyond. He made her feel comfortable and provided exceptional care. He treated her as a top priority and took the time to explain everything that was happening in a way she could understand. His kindness and compassion were evident, and he always made time for her and our family, answering our many questions and ensuring we had what we needed to feel more comfortable. I am so grateful that she had him as her nurse; he really made a challenging time a little easier. He deserves this award and our heartfelt thanks for a job well done.
