She became my “surrogate” daughter at a time when I could not be with my family.
As a very independent 80-year-old Vietnam vet, I was admitted to the ER on Father’s Day. Diagnosed with two torn rotator cuff injuries, I was suffering from extreme pain and terribly in need of a dose of “TLC”. For my entire stay, Michelle Dragus was attentive to my every need, making sure I was kept comfortable and keeping me informed about what was occurring with my treatment. The fact that it was Father’s Day, she was especially attentive to treating me with the respect associated with the significance of the holiday. She became my “surrogate” daughter at a time when I could not be with my family.
Michelle proved knowledgeable about my present condition and comforted me regarding several other health issues I was battling. Coincidentally, she had worked for or with a variety of doctors who were presently treating me. Her insight, experience, and familiarity with them proved very encouraging. During the time I was in her care, she exhibited the best of what it takes to be a top-tier health provider. Michelle is a fine Nurse, a devoted individual, a competent professional, and I was fortunate to have her treat me on Father’s Day.
