Amy has been one of the most supportive and committed nurses I have ever come across. Throughout my placement as a student nurse at Wallingford Community Hospital, Amy has gone above and beyond to support students' learning and has always been an approachable, friendly face to ask when on the ward, providing thoughtful, thorough explanations for anything within her realm of knowledge. Her dedication to patients is inspiring, evident in her thorough methodology and consistent kindness. She is rarely seen on the ward without a smile and will place patients' health and well-being at the forefront of all decisions. Overall, Amy is the most inspiring and well-mannered nurse I have come across during my time as a student.

One specific example I can think of is her commitment to students, when one of the patients on the ward was being transferred to the hospital due to possible sepsis. Although Amy was not the nurse caring for the patient on this day, she was the first to offer assistance to the RN responsible for the individual's care to support observations and transport arrangements. Once the individual’s care had been transferred, I approached Amy to ask about the different types of transport options from a community hospital to an acute care Centre. She took the time to explain the various emergency procedures on the ward thoroughly and to answer any additional questions that arose. Whilst this is only one example, it highlights her true passion for her job and her unwavering commitment to sharing her knowledge and skills.
