Our son has been struggling with low O2 levels for a few months now. He was released from PICU and brought back a few hours later. This morning, he was moved from one room to another to receive more supportive care. Nurse Kim has been nothing short of phenomenal. At one point, he was going to have to go on BiPap. She walked into this with joy and did everything possible to make L comfortable. She has a true passion for what she does, and it radiates while watching her work. Every time she enters the room, she makes him feel like he's the only patient here. She provides developmentally appropriate support while relating things to him in a child-friendly way. He did treatments and tasks for her that he wouldn't do for anyone else. In this tough situation, she is a bright light that shines and a true angel on Earth. By far the best nurse we've had on our 4-day stay so far.
